Lilli Tancos Leads Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats Past South Central Junior Varsity Satellites By GameChanger Media Lilli Tancos was dominant in the circle, as the starter rang up 10 strikeouts in Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats's 3-1 victory over South Central Junior Varsity Satellites on Wednesday. Tancos gave up three hits and one run over seven innings while walking four. Both teams were strong in the circle. Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats pitchers struck out 10, while South Central Junior Varsity Satellites sat down eight. Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats were the first to get on the board in the first when Jordyn Wenger grounded out, scoring one run. A single by Wenger extended the Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats lead to 2-0 in the bottom of the third inning. Alexis Jonas took the loss for South Central Junior Varsity Satellites. The starter went six innings, allowing three runs on six hits, striking out eight and walking one. Wenger provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Wheeler Junior Varsity Bearcats with two runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Tatum Rogers went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Rogers, Gabby Garner, and Carmen Garner each collected one hit for South Central Junior Varsity Satellites.
